Oakville Camera Club
Beautiful photography needs a beautiful space to be showcased, which is why, the Oakville Camera Club reached out to SLK to create such a space online. As an extension of their physical work, they needed an online place where they could reach out to their community members and keep them up to date on news and events, while also giving them to opportunity to attract new members with easy access to club and membership information.

The Works
The Oakville Camera Club tasked SLK with designing their brand identity and website, as well as establish an on-line community for their members. The font for the logo was kept simple and elegant but was completely customized by adding details to the ‘O’ and ‘K’. The elements in the ‘O’ symbolize the lens of a camera, while the leaf sprouting out of the ‘K’ represent the city of Oakville. A main feature of the site development was creating a space where members could easily upload their work and share it with others. The final result was a sleek, modern, site that could easily be updated, and a real community space was created for members to dicussdiscuss and showcase their passion online. Their website has attracted amateurs and professionals alike and we continue to work with the Club by hosting, securing, and taking care of their system updates.
